Q - SWITCHED Nd:YAG Laser System

INTRODUCTION

“ALLUX – Q” irradiates laser of single wavelught – 1064nm or 532nm – toward the skin very short time (nano second level)and transform optical energy into thermal energy. Using the selective photothermolysis and heat resolving principle, it protects the normal skin but destroys and treats the pigment into fine particles. As shown in the figures below, the laser of 1064nm penetrates deep into the skin, while the laser of 532nm and 1064nm absorb red oxyhemoglobin and reddish brown menanin respectively.

SINGLE AND DOUBLE PULSE (PTP)

(ALLUX-Q) offer energy delivery in both Single Pulse and Double Pulse (PTP) modes.
PTP technology disperses the laser energy into two consecutive pulses, mitigating peak power while delivering maximum energy of up to 1.8J per pulse. By creating a Top Hat beam, maximum energy may be delivered evenly over the skin without risking epidermal injury. Both single pulse and double pulse are available in both the Q-Switched 1064nm and Q-Switched 532nm wavelengths.

585nm HANDPIECE (OPTIONAL)

ØThe wave length 585nm Laser is very effective to treat for pigments and vascular lesions.

ØWith this good hand piece, by treating the pigments on the epidermis, vascular lesions and marks left by acne, the skin can be whitened and more beautiful.

ØPresent Laser Toning cannot prevent the relapse of pigmentation because it cannot remove the cells of melanin which cause the pigmentation. But this Dye Hand Piece, by curing abnormal blood vessel not to activate the cells of melanin, can permit almost no relapse.

650nm HANDPIECE (OPSIONAL)

Ø650nm Laser is useful to remove pigmented lesions on epidermis because it it not absorbed easily into melanin and hemoglobin. By this character, it can treat the pigments selectively without injuring textures nearby.

ØThis Laser also very effective to treat kinds of freckles and the recovery time is shorter comparing to 532nm Laser. What the better is very few relapse(including PIH) come out after treatment.

FRACTIONAL HANDPIECE (OPTIONAL)

The fractional hand-piece uses fractional beams (360 spots, 16x16mm) to allow
higher fluence (J/cm2) compared to the bulk mode hand-piece, allowing it to
effectively destroy various pigmentations which were hard to treat before.

What is the Selective Photothermolysis?

A principle under which the normal skin can be  protected while the pigment areas are absorbed and destroyed by the laser selectively.
